Shivam Mishra is a documentary filmmaker. He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and therefore has a profound understanding of Indian society, culture, tradition, and civilisation. He has researched and written about caste issues, the Sanyasis of Bharat, the Kashmir issue, Veer Savarkar, and the Sikh-Hindu conundrum. Having a deep interest in the sacred geography of our Teerth Kshetras, especially Kashi Kshetra and Ayodhya, he has written an extensive article on what’s wrong with the government’s model of development for Teerth Kshetras. Shivam regularly posts about temples, artefacts, and traditions impacted in Kashi to create awareness among Hindus on social media. He has made documentaries like PRAN BANARAS and Save Dhundhiraj. Currently, he works as a freelance writer, has prepared a detailed report on Vrindavan, and is also working on a book and documentary based on sacred geography and its conservation.
