Anita Korde is an eminent speaker on Hindu temples and has authored, presented, and published several papers on Temple Architecture at prestigious national and international conferences. She is an alumnus of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) and a Master’s in Indology from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. She is a management professional turned Indologist and is passionate about the symbolism embedded in the art and architecture of Hindu temples. Her mission is to spread the right knowledge about the greatness of our temples.
She led the setting up of the Somnath Temple Architecture Museum, a unique museum based on the remains of the previous Somnath temples that stood in the same place as the new temple. Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi inaugurated this museum in August 2021.
She has authored the book The Invincible Somnath Temple, which was commissioned and published by Shree Somnath Trust and is due to be released shortly. The primary aim of the book is to enable readers to experience the temple as prescribed by the Shastras and to understand the significance of the Somnath temple as a Muktidham, a catalyst for attaining liberation.
