Dyutimay Banerjee is a Political Science graduate from the University of Calcutta with First Class Honours and is currently pursuing an M.A. in the same discipline from St. Xavier’s College. With strong academic interests spanning ancient and modern history, politics, international relations, and philosophy, he combines scholarly curiosity with creative expression.
An accomplished artist and writer, Dyutimay primarily works in portraiture and architectural art. His artworks have been exhibited at the Indian High Commission, London, and are permanently displayed at Netaji Bhawan and Gorky Sadan, with repeated showcases at Gorky Sadan programmes. He also works as an independent illustrator with publishers based in Kolkata and Delhi.
Dyutimay has served as an academic intern at the Netaji Research Bureau, assisting Dr. Sugata Bose and Sumantra Bose in research, editing, and proofreading. He has authored multiple articles on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, including one published in a yearly journal in May 2025. Recently, he received special recognition from DAC for his ideas and artworks on the Indian Knowledge System, reviewed by NAAC
