“Ramayana Across Asia and Beyond”, an IHAR sponsored event was held on Capitol Hill on Jan 10, 2024, to apprise lawmakers and others of a shared historical cultural heritage of diverse peoples in countiries of Asia and beyond. This proud heritage even today binds a large mass of humanity who have later adopted different faiths across numerous countries. India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Pakistan, Afganisthan, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh , Gyana, Surinam, Mauritius amongst others shared this culture and many of these countries were represented at the event.
